Transportation

The Vancouver International Airport services most national and international airlines and is the main airport servicing Whistler.

Pemberton Airport allows private jets to land and park, in accordance with the Canada Flight Supplement Guide. The runway is 1,220 metres (4,000 feet) long and has four parking pads. Landing and parking fees apply. The airport is located approximately 40 kilometres (25 miles) north of the Resort. It is located in mountainous terrain and has limited service in the winter. Whistler Municipal Heliport is located approximately 9 kilometres (5.5 miles) north of the Resort along Highway 99 and has a public landing area for private or corporate helicopters. Landing and parking fees apply. Chartered helicopter flights are available both in winter and summer, for an applicable fee. Guests can take a taxi to the Resort from the heliport. For reservations please contact our Concierge. A Four Seasons Resort car will meet guests upon arrival at the Whistler Municipal Heliport and take them to the Resort.

You may take in the breathtaking scenery from Vancouver to Whistler via a helicopter flight through Blackcomb Helicopters and HeliJet. HeliJet operates scheduled helicopter flights during the winter season. Chartered flights are available from both the South Terminal of Vancouver International Airport and the downtown Vancouver/Coal Harbour areas, and take approximately 40 minutes.

During the summer months, Whistler Air Services Ltd. provides scheduled float plane service twice a day from its downtown Vancouver base located just west of Canada Place on Coal Harbour. Enjoy a beautiful 30-minute flight over the Lions Gate Bridge, past West Vancouver and Garibaldi Park to Whistler. In the summer, chartered flights are also available from Coal Harbour or Vancouver International Airport. During the winter months, Whistler Air also offers chartered air services between Vancouver International Airport and Squamish Municipal Airport.
