Overview

Venture into this natural sanctuary – one of the jewels of the Peninsula Papagayo – and explore the unique ecosystem of mangrove that provides a rich refuge for wildlife. Take a relaxing paddle through trees and roots in an outrigger canoe, or hop on one of our water bikes for a more intensive workout.

Things To Know

: All levels of experience are welcome.
For each canoe, at least one participant must be able to paddle (at an easy level).
On the shared tour, guests must be 7 years or older to participate.
On a private tour, guests must be 4 years or older to participate.
: The rate for the private tour covers up to five people; addtional participants can be added for USD 140 per person, up to 15 people total.
This tour is only available once a day during high tide, which changes daily; please check with the Concierge for exact timing.
The experience takes place at in Huevos Bay, a 10-minute drive from the main lobby.
Price is subject to 13% tax.
