Located just moments from the glittering city’s highlights and activities, Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is a non-gaming, intimate desert oasis that’s the ideal home base for planning your excursions. To get you started, we asked our Four Seasons team – who have an insider’s view of what’s hot and happening in Las Vegas – for some of the can’t-miss, and even unexpected, things to do around town.

A hidden art find from our PR and Marketing Assistant
“The must-see art in town is the James Turrell ‘Akhob’ light and space installation, tucked atop a luxury handbag store at CityCenter. It’s a soothing colour show that’s a complete surprise in this ever-busy city. Because it’s a free exhibit that’s open to the public, I recommend reserving your spot at least six weeks ahead.”

Our Catering and Conference Services Director’s Favourite Outdoor Destination
“For a refreshing fall, winter or spring activity, head to Red Rock Canyon, just a few miles west of the city, to find your kind of adventure – hiking, climbing, mountain biking or simply driving through the park in search of wild horses. Be sure to see the Petroglyph Wall Trail’s prehistoric rock carvings while there as well. I like to go mid-week and early in the day to avoid the crowds, and recommend dressing in layers to prepare for the day’s rising temps.”

What our Catering Manager Sips at a Local Lounge
“For a timeless look at classic Las Vegas, stop by the iconic Peppermill Fireside Lounge, recognizable from many movies, for a 64-ounce Scorpion cocktail – my personal favourite to share with friends. Open 24 hours, the lounge has two happy hours every day for you to choose from.”

Our Assistant Housekeeping Manager’s Favourite Local Restaurant
“Lotus of Siam is truly a Las Vegas gem just minutes from the Hotel, serving northern Thai cuisine crafted by a James Beard Award–winning chef. Plan to relax at the bar until your table’s ready – the crispy duck Panang and signature garlic prawns are worth waiting for.”

Cultural Insights from our Assistant Director of Catering
“Check out the Mob Museum for the largest collection of organized crime and law enforcement artifacts in the country, and learn about Mob events that helped shape the city. Make sure to allow time for a classic cocktail in the The Underground speakeasy, evoking the Roaring Twenties Prohibition era.”
