Meet The Team
Diogo Lopes
Pastry ChefDiogo Lopes joined the Hotel as an intern (on his birthday, in fact) in 2010 and has proved to be an integral part of our pastry team ever since. When he’s not out biking or running around Lisbon, you may be able to find Diogo teaching guests how to make raspberry millefeuille during the Hotel’s Saturday masterclass, or at your table, chatting about the delicate creation on your plate.
“I really value the one-on-one moments I get with our Four Seasons guests.”

CURA
Skilful curatorship – “curadoria” in Portuguese – lies at the heart of CURA, where Michelin-distinguished chef and head culinary curator Pedro Pena Bastos selects his ingredients as meticulously as an artist chooses his paints, drawing from Lisbon’s rich regional palette of seasonal ingredients to create artisanal dishes of great depth, taste and meaning.
