- Full electric BMW iX serve as hotel house cars
- Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations available for guest use
- Vegan and vegetarian menu items available
- Linens and towels replaced every third day, unless otherwise requested
- Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certified by the US Green Building Council (USGBC)
- Energy-saving guest room controls and building systems
- Water conservation measures in place, including water efficient showers and toilets in all guest rooms
- Elimination of single-use plastics, including water bottles and bathroom amenities
- Room key cards made of recycled materials with the option to access rooms digitally
- Floral Forever Project: botanicals and living arrangements throughout our Hotel are retained, dried and pressed to extend their lifespan in The Spa
- Recycling program in place
- Incoming boxes and packing materials reused and shipping pallets donated with profits cycled back into the local market
- Food and floral waste converted to compost
- Takeaway containers made of biodegradable and compostable packaging
- Local, sustainable and seasonal menu items available
- Cage-free eggs
- Oil recycling program in place
- Collaboration with Foodbuy, which analyzes sustainability and ethical practices throughout the Hotel’s food and beverage operation
- The Spa’s nourishment through nature concept includes local flora- and fauna-inspired therapies that evolve with the changing seasons to prevent the depletion of natural and physical resources
- Use of locally sourced honey in the Spa, with funds supporting the purchase of farm florals that feed bee populations
- Local talent featured throughout our Hotel, including artists, designers and musicians
- Women-owned and -operated business partners, including brands such as farahbean Jewelry and Isadore Nut Company
- Employees volunteer in the community and support local charitable organizations focusing on downtown restoration efforts, social justice programs and health and wellness initiatives, with a concentration on children’s cancer research as part of a company-wide commitment
- Employees complete annual Human Trafficking Awareness training
- Employees engage in internal committees supporting ESG, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB), Health and Safety and Celebrations – a frequent partner to DIB to ensure we’re recognizing multicultural dates and events
- Focus on partnering with local and sustainable suppliers for hotel purchasing and products, including brands such as Custom Water, a woman-owned company that utilizes 100% post-consumer recycled aluminum (no raw materials) and funds projects to lower CO2 in the atmosphere, and Blue Planet eco-eyewear, the first sustainable eyewear brand in the world

- Spa uniforms from partner Noel Asmar are made of biodegradable polyester and spandex fabric
