Marco Calenzo, the Florentine chef who joined Lido in 2023, has quickly established himself as a leading figure in Miami’s culinary scene. His innovative approach to Italian cuisine earned him Chef of the Year and Lido its three forks honour from Gambero Rosso. Chef Calenzo’s passion for Italian cuisine was ignited early and he later graduated from the esteemed Bernardo Buontalenti Hotel Management School before his career took him to Michelin-starred restaurants across Italy, England, China and Japan.

Lido Restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club, Surfside, is a haven for admirers of Italian cuisine. Chef Marco Calenzo, hailing from Florence, infuses traditional recipes with a contemporary twist. Additional signature dishes include Tagliatelle all’astice with lobster and Trapanese pesto; a homemade cavatelli with crustacean and fine herbs; dover sole for two with meunière sauce; and the Cotoletta Alla Milanese, a tender, breaded veal cutlet.
