New Direct Flights
Getting to Tamarindo is now a breeze. As of November 2024, direct flights from Los Angeles (LAX) and Atlanta (ATL) to Manzanillo-Costalegre International Airport (ZLO) offer enhanced connectivity and a more seamless journey to our corner of the world.
AEROTAMARINDO: SIX-SEATER SHUTTLE
Our aviation shuttle, a private flight on our four-, six- or eight-seat jet, offers direct service to Chamela from Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR). The 25-minute flight takes you over the Costalegre, culminating in a breathtaking aerial view of the Chamela-Cuixmala Biosphere Reserve. A Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo representative will be awaiting your arrival, and together, you’ll embark on a 55-minute drive to our Resort.

Getting to Tamarindo

Our corner of the Jalisco coastline offers incomparable scenery, where rugged cliffs and imposing mountains meet the Pacific’s waves. The closest airport is Manzanillo-Costalegre International Airport (ZLO), just a 50-minute drive from La Mansión, our main building. Flying into Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR; 3 hours, 50 minutes by car) or Guadalajara International Airport (GDL; 5 hours by car) brings you even closer to our secluded Resort. : Manzanillo-Costalegre International Airport (ZLO)
Experience new direct flights from Atlanta and Los Angeles to Manzanillo-Costalegre International Airport as of November 2, 2024. ZLO is currently served by four international flights from North America and a daily service from Mexico City, with three flights daily operated by Aeromexico and Delta. The airport is also served by major international carriers, including United, American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, WestJet and Aeromexico/Delta.
Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR)
PVR airport has direct service with 31 international flights to/from North America. International carriers include United, American Airlines, Delta, Alaska, Air Canada, JetBlue, WestJet and Aeromexico. The airport also has a selection of national carriers. We offer a range of transport options between PVR airport and Tamarindo, including automobile transfer, smaller plane and larger charter plane options. Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla Guadalajara International Airport (GDL)
GDL airport has direct service with 22 international flights to/from North America. International carriers include United, American Airlines, Delta, Alaska and Aeromexico. Two national carriers are Volaris and Viva Aerobus. We offer a range of transport options between GDL airport and Tamarindo, including automobile transfer, smaller plane and larger charter plane options. All of these transportation arrangements are reserved and coordinated by our on-site Tamarindo Travel Experts team.
Mexico City International Airport (MEX)
MEX airport has direct service with 28 international flights to/from North America. International carriers include United, American Airlines, Delta, Air Canada and Aeromexico. The airport also has a selection of national carriers. Aeromexico/Delta offers three flights daily from MEX to ZLO. If you are travelling with a larger group, please ask our team about private luxury charter service between MEX and ZLO airports.
Transportation arrangements are reserved and coordinated by our on-site Tamarindo Travel Experts.

For guests staying in one of our Premium Suites, complimentary ground luxury transportation to and from Manzanillo-Costalegre International Airport (ZLO) or Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR) is included with your suite booking.
Our airport ambassadors will greet you upon arrival at the airport. Luggage will be tagged and transported while you are escorted to your transfer vehicle that will take you directly to our reserve.
